Ballydehob Community Tennis
May 2024 Fundraising Update
Ballydehob Community Tennis are delighted to announce that we’ve been successful in receiving approval for two grants:
- €50,000 from the CLÁR fund
- €20,000 from West Cork Community Council Grant. (Thank you to Caroline Cronin for her support and announcement on Facebook)
We’ve also raised over €9,500 from various local fundraising activities such as pub quizzes, a ‘Ball run’ and raffle events in the village and the GoFundMe page. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed!
So our current total is just over €79,500 of approved funds!
The committee are currently working on the next steps based on when these fund will be made available, additional fundraising needs and how the money will be used to improve the tennis facilities in Ballydehob. We’ll let you know when we have more details.
